Kenting National Park Deputy Director Hsu Shu-Kuo 許書國 told Central News Agency reporters that recreational activities in the marine area of Kenting National Park are regulated not only during typhoon warnings but also based on wind and wave conditions. Today, the Hengchun Peninsula is experiencing heavy rain due to the lingering frontal system, and there are already significant waves in the sea.

The wave height has exceeded 2 meters in the morning, prompting the placement of three red flags on the beach, prohibiting activities such as swimming, diving, and jet skiing.
