Fuxing Village 福興村
Fuxing Village is situated on the plain to the north of the Sizhong River.
It serves as the main administrative center of the township, housing facilities such as the township office, police substation, household registration office, agricultural association, post office, elementary and junior high schools, and the township’s public library.
It is intersected by the Ping-E Highway and the provincial road Ping 199, which leads to the Sizhong Hot Springs and the Shimen Historic Battlefield. This road is a must-pass route for visitors heading to these destinations. During weekends and holidays, there is frequent traffic flow and convenient transportation.
The village’s development in recent years has surpassed the older Fuan Village in terms of progress. The population is also larger, with most residents engaged in farming. Rice cultivation is the primary agricultural activity, with famous onions being a major secondary crop.
