Sigouli belonged to Deheli during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, and it was Dapingdingzhuang (大平頂庄) during the Japanese occupation.

Today’s Sigouli includes Dapingding 大平頂, Sangou 三溝 and Sigou 四溝, but only in the name of Sigou.

The west is adjacent to Checheng Township and Shanhai Village; the north is adjacent to Tougou village; the south is adjacent to Dehe village;

It covers an area of 7.3316 square kilometers and has a population of 1174 people.

It is also a settlement developed earlier by the Han people in Hengchun, with abundant water sources. However, in today’s industrial and commercial society, it is not easy to survive, however, there are few hotels and homestays and B&Bs that are open work still ok.
