Water Activities Prohibited at Banana Bay Beach Area?

2 weeks ago, Kenting National Park Management Office released a statement, that says this:

The waters of Banana Bay are designated as a marine ecological protection zone, and recreational activities in this area are not permitted. Recently, there have been reports of tourists engaging in recreational activities near Banana Bay Fishing Harbor.

We want to remind visitors that this area is adjacent to the Banana Bay Fishing Harbor channel, which can be hazardous. Furthermore, this area is part of a marine ecological protection zone, and recreational activities are prohibited.

There are signs posted in the vicinity of the waters indicating these restrictions. We kindly request that visitors refrain from engaging in recreational activities in this area. Violations may be subject to penalties by the National Park Act.

Well, only what I can add is that there are still considerable people snorkeling and swimming at Banana Bay Beach, but not exactly near the fishing harbor, which the statement particularly mentions. We have a full 360-degree walk in this area; you can check it out:
