Suddenly, a fierce wind and heavy rain struck Kentings Nanwan, with high waves crashing onto the shore. Even umbrellas were at risk of being blown away, and rescue personnel found it challenging to maintain their footing.

People noticed someone floating in the water, desperately seeking help as they were on the brink of being submerged by the sea. Rescuers swiftly jumped into the water to aid the individual. Jetski arrived on the scene, surrounding the area, and successfully brought the person safely to shore.

One eyewitness noted: “Waves engulfed everything. The entire scene was filled with mud and sand swirling about. Due to the complete lack of visibility horizontally, if you tried to gaze at the sea level, it was almost impossible to discern it.”
