Sunshine Liv. Hotel in Kenting is a beachfront homestay located in Nanwan, offering guests sustainable accommodation with scenic sea views, and a big sea view terrace to enjoy sea view breakfast at morning. This is the second hotel in the Nanwan Beach area I have visited personally, and we have a full 360° tour and review of it on our resource. Another one I have visited is Nanwan Station Hotel. Both hotels are almost near to each other, and a unique feature that is now available on vr-kenting.com is that you can literally walk from one hotel room to another – all virtually in our tour. You won’t have this on Google Maps.

- Very close proximity to Nanwan Beach with a beach bar & restaurant area

- A hotel-like environment, a big sea view terrace to enjoy breakfast
- It is a pretty quiet environment, considering the big road nearby

Where is Kenting White Hotel located?
Kenting Sunshine Liv. The hotel is located just roadside of Nanwan Rd and has several buildings, almost all of them facing the sea, and many rooms have a balcony.
One of the biggest bonus, of course, is the balcony – it offers a pretty big space with chairs and a table to enjoy morning coffee or evening beer (or vice versa, depending on your lifestyle). This is the 360° photo made from balcony, feel free to turn and look on all directions:
Staying in the Nanwan area is a good decision itself since it is a self-sufficient area, with its own bars, restaurants, and cafes – as on the beach or also on Nanwan Road. Suppose you stay in Sunshine Liv. You will have a Piccolo Polpo seafood restaurant 1 min walk away, and you can walk virtually to there in our virtual tour as well:
Now, try the virtual tour, look around, and then go straight. You will find yourself near Nanwan Station Hotel, and then next to it – Piccolo Polpo Italian Seafood Restaurant.
As you can see from google maps, this hotel is already at the eastern edge of the Nanwan Beach area – across the street, so from our room, we could see parked water scooters and not the beach itself, but it is a breathtaking view, and the balcony view is worthwhile.
Arrival to the Hotel & First Impressions
Hotel has own parking, and it is a huge plus for a Nanwan Area Hotel – the smaller hotels will usually make you park at Nanwan Recreation Area Parking Lot – which is big, but then you will need to walk back to the hotel. There are several parking spaces for the hotel, one being here:

If you arrive earlier, you will be able to wait for the checking in pretty comfortable and spacious lobby restaurant – which boasts a huge outdoor terrace with a view on the Nanwan Beach:
The only minus for the outdoor seating area, in my opinion, is the lack of any roof – especially in summer, it will be super hot to sit there in direct sunshine. Hotel also offers a afternoon tea while you wait for the check in.
We got the room in the same building with lobby, so after we got our key – we are ready to move up the steps, and you can walk up the steps as well – virtually – not so far – second floor only 🙂

Sunshine Liv Hotel Guest Room
Our room was on second floor, the one which is just under the lobby entry:
This family room has a really unique and special design, it has 2 large double beds, but unlike in majority of hotels, who just blandly put them near each other, at the best putting some small table in middle – this hotel had made room design so, that both beds are pretty much separated from each other, and while sleeping – you do not see other bed at all – a huge plus if you are together with teenage kids. Check it out yourself:
You can see here that one bed is located pretty standardly near the window, but the another one – just behind the corner and near the bathroom in a niche like this:

Of course the one of the biggest selling points of the hotel besides the location near Nanwan, is the balcony and it view:

If you want to stay right in the Nanwan area, then Sunhshine Liv. hotel is a good choice – new, freshly decorated rooms, lift, almost a beachfront property with breakfast, and balcony with a view – definitely worth a try.
